Hello Home, Louise Hjorth

In time for the first rays of spring, we revisited the interior designer Louise Hjorth and her the fantastic apartment on Östermalm. Louise was one of the first people get Gotain's roman blind last year, and this time it was time to complete the look with sweeping curtain lengths.

Since our first visit, the decor has changed, but Louise shines just as brightly with her warm and inviting personality. The living room has been given accents in blue, a large crystal chandelier in Murano glass and armchairs in a structured blue fabric, both of which highlight the natural tones in the remaining interior.

In the bright living room, roman blinds hang in woven linen, something that Louise has chosen to complement with long lengths in the same fabric. Roman blinds are a perfect alternative for windows that are not suitable for curtain lengths, but it is easy to forget that these can also be combined for a classic and very warm look! The curtain rods are hung as close up to ceiling as possible to enhance the stately height of the room, and the roman blinds have been placed to follow the window's outer frame at the top.

The bedroom is painted in a dark shade (but Louise whispered that this will soon change!) and to achieve the optimal hotel dream, only one thing was missing - blackout curtains! To connect the bedroom with the living room, Louise has chosen blackout curtains in the same fabric, woven linen sand, but where a soft blackout lining is sewn on the back.
